In addition Kirly-Sue (aka Susanne Kirlew) is on a mission to help change the image of veganism in the UK by running a series of seminars that helps people to make the transition from eating meat to veganism.
The seminars answer questions like:
- Do you want to be a vegan but don’t know how?
- Are you bored of eating the same thing over and over again?
- Would you like a list of ten things to know before becoming vegan?
- Do you need a meal planner and some tasty recipes?
- Want to know how vegans get their protein?
The Vegan Society has reported that the number of vegans in the UK has doubled in the last nine years from 150,000 to around 300,000.
In addition the market research company Mintel has reported that the non-dairy milk market dramatically increased from 36 million litres in 2011 to 92 million in 2013, making it worth over £150 million.

“Veganism is important as it’s a subject that people need to know more about so that they can make an informed decision. I feel exploring a more plant based diet is better for our bodies and the environment. Also there is no need to harm creatures that can feel pain.
