Globally recognised hair academy, Allilon Education, has launched its own branded range of quality styling tools, curating a kit that ensures the tools used in training are of the same high standard as those utilised in-salon.
The kit includes two pairs of Allilon-branded scissors, as well as collaborations with two other distinguished hair brands: a branded Denman Paddle Brush and a branded ceramic Vess brush.
The two pairs of scissors were designed as the foundation of the toolkit, and were created from scratch, over a two-year period, to ensure they were capable of achieving the detailed cutting work that Allilon Education and ENA Salon are renowned for. According to Johnny Othona “Everything starts with scissors, they’re our most important tool. It took a long time to get these right: there were plenty of prototypes, which we developed until they were perfect.”
One pair is five inches in length, while the other is five and a quarter inches long, and both are sold with oil and a chamois, for maintaining the condition.
The brushes, designed in collaboration with top haircare brands Denman and Vess, are also toolkit staples. The Vess brush is designed specifically to bring out a haircut and make the hair super shiny. It is smooth to use and has a stylish glossy black finish.
Also included in the range, is a neck shutter, designed and made in Japan; three combs – ‘Beuy 101’, ‘Beuy 107’ and ‘Cesiban’ – which are used exclusively in the ENA Salon; and a stylish bespoke leather kit bag.
As explained by Johnny Othona, Director of Allilon Education and ENA Salon: “We felt it was paramount to standardise our equipment, so that our professional approach is maintained throughout – whether that is in the salon or in training. Everyone needs to be achieving the same premium results, which means using the same premium equipment and tools.”
